Biographical Info
Rachel Rixen is an American watercolor artist based in Chicago. Her art is primarily inspired by travel and she seeks to recreate the feeling and memory of the places she has visited and lived. In 2014, she launched her art business, Lakes and Lights, named after Minneapolis (the City of Lakes, her hometown) and Paris (the City of Light, where she studied), the two cities where she had spent the most time.
