Biographical Info
I am a Chicago artist who studied at The Art institute. I began my career working in watercolor, currently concentrating in oil paintings. My art celebrates nature. The not-so-obvious beauty…like the craggy remains of a breakwater or the rusted metal supports of an old pier…as well as the traditionally beautiful. The goal is to connect people to nature’s beauty in its many forms. To observe the serenity and peace it inspires and hopefully find healing loveliness in quiet scenes — something that has always connected me to the outside world. I am fascinated by the relationships of colors to one another — particularly the heavily saturated pigments as they contrast with light soft colors In my paintings.
