Billie Bowman

Biographical Info I’ve spent years in the studio creating oil paintings from reference imagery, only to eventually grow tired of spending weeks, sometimes months, on a single painting. Expanding my painting practice to en plein air revitalized my love for painting. Much of my work consisted of land and waterscapes regardless of where I painted it, and it made so much sense to get outside and paint with the added challenge of ever-changing lighting conditions and surroundings.
