Paint Out: Gillson Park and Baha’i House of Worship, and OHC

This Saturday we have several options!

Option one – Gillson Park and Beach is option one, with lake views and views of the Baha’i House of Worship.

Option two – The Baha’i House of Worship is option two, with it’s gardens and the amazing house of worship.

The two sites are across the street from each other, both in Wilmette, with Baha’i at 100 Linden Avenue and Gillson at Michigan and Washington Avenues.

There is parking at the Baha’i on the premises. At Gillson, there is parking but CAREFULLY read the parking signs. Near the lakefront, parking is reserved for Wilmette residents only. Park closer to Sheridan or on Michigan Avenue.

Option three – YES, THREE!!! – This weekend is Open House Chicago and you have the option to paint at any of these locations:

1. Baha’i House of Worship (Wilmette) PAPC paint out
2. First United Methodist Church of Evanston
3. The Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Arts
4. Wrigley Field
5. Glessner House (1800 S. Prairie Ave.)
6. Powhatan (4950 South Chicago Beach Drive)
7. Harold Washington Library
8. McCormick Bridge House and Chicago River Museum (Loop)
9. Pui Tak Center (Chinatown)
10. Indian Boundary Park Cultural Center (2500 West Lunt Ave.)

I suppose, if you pace yourself and do some nocturnes, you could paint everything!
