Tom Trausch, award-winning watercolorist, workshop for PAPC members and non-members, Saturday June
29, 9:30am – 4:30pm.
Members at I Heart Plein Air 2023 praised Tom’s considerate in-depth instruction, so we are lucky to have him back for this event.
Finding Color will explore painting architecture successfully and adding people and cars
into your plein air scenes. Demos will be in watercolor, but since Tom is proficient in oils as
well, oil painters are welcome to register.
Members $125; non-members $150. This will be held at Washington Square Park in front of the Newberry Library; members will receive supply list upon registering. Registration is limited to 10 people. Meet at the Palette and Chisel, 1012 N Dearborn. If severe rain, workshop will be held in the Palette and Chisel.
